In the Summer of ’69

I apologize for the long wait on a new post. Not only have I had computer malfunctions (which is why I’m writing to you from the library), but I have become frustrated with my closet. Recently I went through it and made some final selections on. I’ve gotten rid of the items that I either no longer wear or are just too big. Even though I’m glad my closet is no longer cluttered, I feel as if I have nothing to wear. When choosing my outfits, it seems as if something is missing. I’m hoping this feeling will soon be put to rest. My cousin and I have planned a much-needed shopping spree in August, and I plan to fill my dorm closest to the brim.

Today was extremely pleasant on the weather front, with a nice breeze to keep me cool in the this knit dress from H&M. And with this little bowling bag purse I couldn’t help feeling as if I was in the summer of ’69. It was definitely a purse I had been chasing after for a while. Ever since I received my bowling alley Barbie with her purse just like this in blue. And nn my feet is another thrift find; Steve Maddens. Madden designs some of the chicest shoes, most which I can’t afford. But I found this pair for only $6. They are a bit rough around the edges, but totally worth it.
