Showing Your Colors

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th. Even without presents or candy, it is definitely a memorable holiday. It is a day filled with fun and family. I know I had a great time with my mom as we planted flowers and bought some more stuff for my dorm room. But when it came time for lunch we feasted on American classics of burgers and homemade mac’ n cheese. The night came to close with the dazzling firework show, watched from our own front yard.

The 4th of July is a day to show your colors. Something I really struggled with because I came to realize I was lacking in these colors. After trying to find something to wear, I came to realize I desperately need a red dress. But somehow I still managed to pull together some red, white, and blue.
