Last night I went to Milwaukee’s Bastille Days. A festival that celebrates french culture. It was my first time attending due to busy schedules in the past. It was a real treat to explore a new culture. With people in costumes and jazzy music playing it felt like something special. I was a bit disappointed when I found there were no macaroons, but got over it long enough to try a delicious looking crepe. It wasn’t my favorite, but part of the adventure is just trying it. I did have some luck wandering the shops, finding hidden treasures. Such as stunning pocket watch that couldn’t look more steam punk. I already can’t stop wearing it around the house. I’m more than excited for the next festival to start so I can do this all over again.
