So, I know this month I’ve completely disappeared from the blogosphere. But with finals and moving out of my dorm room, I’ve really had to put all my focus into school at the moment. Finals week at Stout seemed to drag on forever, but now that it’s done, I can’t help but feel a bit nostalgic. My freshman year of college is over. It’s hard to believe that it was almost a year ago that I was graduating high school and packing up all my stuff for my dorm. Since then, I’ve realized how much I’ve changed. Not so much what I look like, but how I feel about every aspect of my life. I’ve also discovered new things that I love about myself, and things that I may also need to work on. So much has happened in such a short amount of time that it’s slightly overwhelming.
But my college experience thus far, has made me want to set higher expectations for myself. To start making goals, to work to achieve something. This year has really helped me sort out my priorities and what I want to accomplish. This summer I’m hoping to dedicate a lot more time to the blog, starting some new projects and coming up with new ideas. This blog and the readers mean so much to me, that I want to put more time into creating what I’ve always dreamed it to be.
