You know its spring here when it starts to rain. Flowers are beginning to bloom and the leaves are returning to their trees. The oncoming of warm has me bouncing off the walls with excitement. Spring is the chance for me to bust out my beloved wellies and bubble umbrella. As summer will soon draw near, I am anxious to show you some of my great summer pieces I been collecting this winter. Summer also means the great chance to really explore my city and continuw=e to update for you lovely readers out there.
But, now for the real topic at hand. THE.DOONEY.&.BOURKE.BAG. This bag is the epitone of leather and fashion for me. The past month has had me relentless searching for one of these prized bags. And eventually I found one. I found this little beauty at a Goodwill for only $14 (what luck). With their beautiful leather and earth colors they are one of the chicest purses out. The D&B bag is capable of being paired with a variety of outfits and is perfect for that great vintage look.
With rain comes chill, so I’m still dressing warmly. Today I wore a lovely vintage rose maxi skirt I got from Andie (which I had been lusting over for months). This piece is great for that classic vintage look and goes well with one of my favorite blazers I picked up in a thrift shop. To give me some extra height I wore some victorian inspired boots I picked up in one of my favorite vintage stores. And for that pop of color I added some copper stained earrings.
