So, my hair is silver. It is now the middle of winter. It has been forever since my last post, a whole 3 months! My hiatus was unintentional, but much-needed. Sometimes you just need a breather to gather your thoughts and embrace the change in your life. But, that’s for another time.

Having grown up in Wisconsin, I have learned to embrace the cold and all that comes with it. That includes breathtaking backdrops like these that make you feel as if you’re in another place entirely. Combine an ice-covered lake with the golden hour and feel as if you’re on the set of a movie.
