Well I’m excited so say I’m actually going somewhere for spring break this year. It’s something I’ve been talking about for years and have only be able to do now. For a couple days, I’m actually going to be a New York woman; seeing the sights and trying the food. The “Big Apple” has always been on my list of places to visit. With it being the fashion capital of the world, it feels as if it was just meant to happen. I’ve always loved everything that comes along with a city. The rush of people, all the smells (both pleasant and not so much), and that incredible sense of belonging. I love knowing that everyone around me has their own stories, their own history. Lately I’ve been exploring the site Humans of New York . The more I look at these fascinating people, the more I want to be among them.
Something else to be excited about is that my one year blogiversary lands on the day I fly out to New York. It blows me away that it’s just over a month until I’ve had my blog for a whole. I really hope to make the day special. And possibly pick up a piece of birthday cake to celebrate.
