So this past Tuesday my friend Holly and myself spent a wonderful day in Chicago. We were up bright and early for the morning train, which we were almost late for I might add. But even with a shakey start, our day start off wonderfully with a stroll through Grant Park. And like any other tourist, we found ourselves in Millennium Park. The renowned “bean” was as shiney as ever. Luckily we arrived before most of the city dwellers. But of course, as a fashion blogger, I had to wander about Michigan Avenue. For myself, this was the most exciting part of the day. I made my way through wonderful high-end stores such as Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and Topshop. We even took a moment to explore inside Michael Kors, even though it’s just a bit out of my price range. But most of my money was spent in their Forever 21. It was so stunning, it even had a guy section. After a shopping ended and it was time to eat, we walked over to Navy Pier. This was my second time there, but I found the atmosphere much more fun than the first time around. After awhile we found ourselves just wandering about, trying to take in everything. The day was tiring but we continued to roam about until we had to return to the train station. With the amazing experience we had, I dream of the next trip we’ll make. It sadly won’t be for a while yet. But when it comes, I have plans of walking about Chinatown and searching through vintage boutiques.
