This is the moment when highschool ends. The moment I will no longer be a senior. The moment summer begins. The moment I begin to count the days until college. The moment I prepare myself for some heartfelt goodbyes. The moment I move out of the house. The moment I will never want to forget. This is the moment….
There are so many unforgettable moments in our lives. These memories that change and shape us. We learn from these glimpses into the past. We learn to become better people, and to make good choices with our lives. Even when a moment took a turn for the worst, we could never forget them. Because without all these moment, we wouldn’t be who we are today. My moment happened on June 8, 2013. After all the struggles of high school, I finally made it. I graduated. This short journey of four years has ended and I’m moving on to bigger places. I will now become a college student, joining the flow of campus life. I will have finally reached the moment I’d been waiting for.
To celebrate my family came to town to visit. My cousin and myself when to a little French pattiserie called. We found ourselves in awe by the charming atmosphere filled with delicious smells and appetizing plates. Deciding to take a risk we tried something new, blue cheese (not to big of a risk). But what we really came for was the desserts. The display case was filled to the brim with tasty treats. We found ourselves enjoying some macaroons along with chocolate mousse and fruit tarts. But be aware this is not a place for the faint of heart, the food is a bit pricey. Though it is definitely worth every penny.
Even while wearing a hideous green robe, I was dressed to impress. I chose a classic fifties silhouette with tulle underneath to give it that extra flounce. the pops of a blue and green floral print add to the softness of the material. I was also unable to resist wearing my new pair of sandals. Although a bit tight, they have become a new favorite of mine. Especially since their color allows them to be paired with many of my outfits.
